Phoenix International Announces Corporate Appointments

 

Wood Dale , Illinois – February 16, 2006 - Phoenix International Freight Services Ltd. announces multiple new appointments at the corporate and route development levels. Phoenix International is the largest privately owned international forwarder/NVOCC and Customs broker headquartered in North America , with more than1200 employees and $500 million in sales.

Shanna Miller, Vice President, Information Systems. Shanna joins Phoenix from DCS Transport Logistics Solutions, where she was vice president. In her new role, Shanna will further develop a team of IS professionals focusing on continuing Phoenix ’s advancements in first-class systems and leading-edge technology. “The flexibility of being a privately owned company facilitates an environment where decisions can be made quickly, enabling us to continue exceeding employee, customer and vendor needs,” said Miller.

Raj Dias, Director of Business Development – Indian Subcontinent. Raj joins Phoenix with more than 18 years of diverse experience in international logistics; most recently as Exel’s Vice President, Western Region. “My goal is for Phoenix to be the leading provider of high quality international transportation services to and from the Indian subcontinent region”, said Dias.

James Julian, PIX LINE Manager. James joins Phoenix with 14 years of industry experience, most of which was spent with NACA Logistics. PIX LINE is Phoenix International’s NVOCC division. James will focus his efforts on strengthening the less-than-container-load export consolidation services.

Mark Kapostasy, Australia / New Zealand Route Development Manager. Mark moves into the route development role after successfully serving as Phoenix ’s Cincinnati branch Sales Manager since opening the office in 1999. “ Phoenix ’s success has been and will continue to be a direct result of our commitment to people. Understanding client needs and ensuring they are met is what it is all about”, explains Kapostasy

Olivier Arnaudeau, France Route Development Manager/Eastern Region. Olivier relies on his seven years of industry and market experience when providing superior customer service to clients doing business with France . “The professionalism and extensive service portfolio of my counterparts based in France enable me to assure my customers the best in class for their logistics needs”, said Arnaudeau.

Anna Doni, Italy Route Development Manager/Eastern Region. With twenty years of industry and route development experience, Anna knows how best to serve the needs of clients shipping to and from Italy . “There are many intricacies involved with international logistics. Phoenix has impressed clients who are grateful for the level of service we offer”, said Doni.

Blake Bina, Holland Route Development Manager. Eleven years of industry experience prepared Blake for his latest role. “Our service to and from The Netherlands combines the strength of our experience with localized personal attention. It is a powerful combination resulting in impressive levels of customer satisfaction”, said Bina.
