Phoenix Opens Office in Ningbo,
China
Wood Dale, Illinois - December 15, 2003 -- Phoenix
International Freight Services, Ltd. (Class "A" forwarder
in China) has opened their latest full service international logistics
office in one of China's oldest cities dating back to 4800 B.C.
Located in the middle of China's coastline south
of the Yangtze Delta and the Shanghai Municipality, Ningbo is
the center of a massive transportation network and producer of
one-fifth of the Zhejiang province's industrial output.
"Ningbo port holds the most potential for container
vessels in China. In 2006, Ningbo will be ready to handle vessels
with a capacity of more than 7000 TEUs each. Shanghai port depth
is limited to handling 4,000 TEU vessels and is almost fully occupied.
More and more mother vessels will be calling on Ningbo when the
port facility is ready", explains Phoenix's Managing Director,
Andy Wang.
