The average price of U.S. retail diesel soared by a record 34.6 cents to $3.144 a gallon, also a record, the Department of Energy reported Monday. The price of regular gasoline rose 12.5 cents to $2.928, below the record $3.069 a gallon.
Strike ends at Polar Air – JOC - Polar Air Cargo said it has reached a tentative agreement with its pilots union, ending a two-week-old strike by flight crews.

ACH Debit Routing Change - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued a notice to all ACH Debit Participants regarding a change in the bank customer information used to retrieve funds from the payers' accounts. The current customer number and transit routing number will be replaced with the account information for CBP's new bank. ACH Debit payers should notify their banks of the change, especially if you have edits on your accounts for the customer information. During the transition period, it is possible that either customer information could be used for the ACH Debit transaction. CBP anticipates that the migration will be completed by December 31, 2005 . Any ACH Debit rejections caused by ACH Debit payers not notifying their respective banks of the change will be subject to all penalties currently imposed by law.
