I have been in the freight forwarding industry for almost 10 years. Wow, how time flies! All this time I have been working with numbers, and I really like them. I joined the Phoenix family four years ago in the Chicago branch. I started off in the Breakbulk Department as a billing clerk. After about a year-and-a-half I moved to the Brokerage Department and then the Billing Department, where I worked on a variety of things, such as billing, credit and re-bills, and payables.

I was then given the great opportunity to join Financial Reporting at the Corporate office, where I’ve worked for about 10 months. I enjoy working with the financials, because it gives me the opportunity to use my accounting degree and knowledge. I handle seven branches at the moment, and they keep me very busy. Some maybe more than others, but I like working with every single one of you just the same.

I have a 12-year-old son, Romario, who also keeps me very busy. He is definitely my pride and joy. He does great in school and is part of the BETA club. He is also on his school’s volleyball and basketball teams. What else can I ask for? Oh, did I mention he’s a goodlooking boy too?
